On who I am

I left a career in finance at 30 because I realized I was good at a thing I didn't want. For two years I drifted — a bookshop, a brief Buddhist retreat, a lot of walking. Now I write software for a small climate NGO and teach one class a week. I am slower than I used to be, and kinder to people who are slower than me. I'm not looking for someone interesting, I'm looking for someone honest. I've met plenty of interesting. Honest is rarer.

This is one of four confessions — the other three are just as long, just as written.

Intentionally small. We're accepting the first 50 members in closed beta, then growing by invitation and waitlist.

Why does it cost money?

$29/month keeps us independent. No VC, no ads, no selling your data.

What if I don't want to write that much?

Then this probably isn't for you. Writing the four confessions honestly takes 30–60 minutes.

How do I know it's real people?

Every profile is read by a human (Leo) before it goes live. Photos go through moderation.
